Designated as a Wild & Scenic River, Wilson Creek offers miles of creekside hiking trails, cascading waterfalls, and is excellent for trout fishing. Enjoy kayaking in Wilson Creek, as well as biking within Pisgah National Forest. Developed camping is available at the Mortimer Campground along Wilson Creek.
If you enjoy waterfalls, try Silvervale Falls, Phillips Branch Falls, Harper Creek Falls, or the spectacular 80-foot Glen Marie Falls, not to distant from Blowing Rock.
