Nearby intermediate and difficult mountain biking trails include Tsali, rated as one of the top ten best trails. White Twister, is a 4.6 mile loop that is fast and offers a fair number of climbs. Coweeta Lab/Buckeye Branch both begin with a 3 mile climb to a level ridge, and Buckeye Branch provides an awesome downhill.
For great photos, visit one of many waterfalls in the area. Also, four horseback trails are located adjacent to the Hurricane Primitive Campground in Nantahala National Forest.
