Interested in whitewater rafting, canoeing, kayaking?  Try Blue Ridge Outing Co., Carolina Outfitters Whitewater Rafting, or Old River Outdoor Adventures.

Like horseback riding? Contact Cataloochee Ranch, Queen's Farm Riding Stables, or Hemphill Mountain Campground & Stables.  Rides include half and full day, trails of all kinds in the Great Smokies, and even pony rides.

What can you do in winter? Cataloochee Ski Area is consistently one of the earliest resorts to open the ski season and the latest to close, thanks to its technologically advanced snowmaking capability.
