Lodging in Alexander County includes everything from the hometown hospitality of a cozy bed & breakfast to a scenic riverside campground.

The Apple City Bed & Breakfast, named for the famous Brushy Mountain apples of the area, is a peaceful hideaway located near the historic center of Taylorsville. A great time to visit is in the fall, especially the 3rd weekend in October during the annual Apple Festival.

For a more rustic location, the Hiddenite Family Campground provides 30 acres of beautiful mountain scenery along the South Yadkin River. With 37 full hook-up sites, plus tent sites, the campground also offers a pool, playground, and plenty of nature trails. Look for theme weekends, such as the Halloween Fun Weekend in October.
